Bill,

Just adding I have been doing Cardiac work with heart rates b/n 120-130 bpm for 20 min as a warm up before training sessions and 30 min to an hour on off days and I have to say it has been the best change I have made in my training over the last few years. I sleep better, recover faster, my dynamic warm ups feel much more productive, and my resting HR dropped from an average of 68-72 bpm down to 49-54 bpm in the past 6 months. Keep up the great work, tempo squats are killer.

You are correct. Nothing fancy. Just a general warm-up before mobility exercises.

Bill,

For the sled warm-up, are you simply picking various drills with some light loading and executing them in a circuit in order to get the blood pumping? OR is there more to it than that?

Enjoy your 4th of July, and thank you for your always-excellent blog posts.
